Generation Risk Analysis
The proposed methodology allows a better estimation of the generation risk associated to the project, as it brings a temporal resolution comparable to the power purchase agreements (PPA).
In addition to the central power production estimate (P50), the long-term statistics allows the creation of power production scenarios for each hour of the entire project life.
Combined with spot price scenarios, it is possible to quantify the risk of a given PPA structure through a normal distribution of a financial result.
